MISSION STATEMENT

        The mission of the Lake Hiawatha Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of the people of Lake Hiawatha and the surrounding communities against fire and other hazards. This will be accomplished by fire fighters who are well trained and drilled in the strategies and tatics of modern day firefighting. These firefighters will act at all times in a professional manner using properly maintained equipment.
